Pattaya Deploys AI Kiosks for 5-Minute Health Checks
Pattaya has launched automated Health Station kiosks enabling residents to complete basic health checks in under five minutes, as part of its Smart Health City initiative. Unveiled by Mayor Poramet Ngampichet on April 3, the kiosks measure blood pressure, oxygen levels, weight, height, and BMI, with results instantly uploaded online. Four locations are currently operational across the city. The project also includes a LINE-based app for accessing medical records and AI health advice, plus portable telemedicine kits for community health volunteers. The initiative targets vulnerable groups including the elderly, chronic disease patients, and underserved communities, using AI and Big Data to improve healthcare access and planning.
