OpenAI Unveils ChatGPT Images 2.0 and Codex Labs

OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Images 2.0, an upgraded image generator supporting resolutions up to 2,000 pixels wide, new aspect ratios, and improved text rendering in multiple languages including Japanese, Korean, and Hindi. The tool can generate up to 10 images per prompt and uses built-in knowledge to fill information gaps, with paid users able to activate reasoning modes for web access and higher output quality. Alongside the image tool, OpenAI debuted Codex Labs, an enterprise training service designed to help organizations adopt its Codex programming assistant. The offering includes workshops, technical guidance, and integration support to connect Codex with existing developer tools.
