OpenAI Set to Launch Aeon AI Agent

As OpenAI's 2026 DevDay approaches, the company is expected to release its own consumer-facing AI agent called Aeon. Despite popularizing the modern generative AI chatbot, OpenAI has fallen behind competitors in the continuously running AI agent space. Aeon would be its answer to rivals including Meta's Muse, SpaceX's Grok Bot, and OpenClaw.
