Nvidia Raises $500B for AI Infrastructure Buildout
Nvidia has partnered with six major Wall Street firms, including BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, KKR, and Blackstone, to raise half a trillion dollars for AI infrastructure. The funds will support data center construction and chip manufacturing facilities, with Nvidia framing GPUs as a new long-term investable asset class comparable to stocks and bonds.
The announcement adds to growing scrutiny over Nvidia's dealmaking, with critics warning of circular financial arrangements among overlapping partners. Recent reports also suggest Nvidia is negotiating a $250 billion data center lease deal and a separate $350 billion chip financing agreement with OpenAI.
