Nvidia is reportedly in talks to backstop a $250 billion loan for OpenAI's new data center campus in Ohio, which would provide 10 gigawatts of computing capacity — equivalent to powering eight million homes. The campus is being developed by SoftBank's SB Energy unit. The $250 billion covers only lease and construction costs, excluding GPUs that could push the total beyond $500 billion. Separately, Nvidia is weighing a $350 billion deal to finance OpenAI's graphics card purchases.
