Nvidia and DDN slash AI costs, boost GPU efficiency
Nvidia and DDN are partnering to maximize the economic value of AI infrastructure, focusing on GPU efficiency and lowering cost per token across enterprise deployments. DDN CEO Alex Bouzari emphasized that making GPUs productive and profitable is the core mission.
The collaboration includes new advancements aligned with Nvidia's Vera Rubin platform, built specifically for agentic AI workloads. Bouzari noted that agents generate 30 times more compute and data demands than chatbots, requiring novel architectures, with Nvidia targeting cost-per-token reductions of 10 to 20 times.
