NetApp, Google Cloud Unite for Sovereign AI Storage

NetApp has signed a 4-year Enterprise Agreement with Google Cloud to embed its storage solutions into Google Distributed Cloud air-gapped (GDC), a sovereign cloud platform delivered by World Wide Technology. The deal targets government and defense organizations requiring secure, air-gapped environments for sensitive data. NetApp's AFF, StorageGRID, and Trident solutions will power AI-driven decision-making within private clouds while meeting strict data sovereignty and compliance requirements. The collaboration aims to help public sector customers modernize operations without compromising security or national sovereignty.
