June 12, 2025: Multiverse Computing Secures $215M for AI Cost-Saving Tech - Spanish startup Multiverse Computing has secured $215M in a Series B round to develop CompactifAI, a technology that compresses large language models (LLMs) by up to 95% while maintaining performance. These optimized models are 4x to 12x faster than their uncompressed versions, reducing inference costs significantly.

The compressed models can operate on a range of devices, from PCs to Raspberry PIs. Founded by specialists in quantum-inspired tensor networks and banking, Multiverse boasts 100 global customers and 160 patents.
