Mondoo Launches Free Tool to Scan Risky AI Skills

Mondoo has launched AI Skills Check, a free security tool that scans AI agent skills before installation to identify supply chain risks. The service works across major AI development environments including Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf, and supports registries like ClawHub and Skills.sh. The tool analyzes skills across four layers: pattern matching, machine learning classification, semantic analysis, and deep inspection. Results are scored using the Common Vulnerability Scoring System. Mondoo, which has raised $32.5 million in funding, is offering the service free to help organizations gain visibility as agentic AI adoption grows.
