Mistral Unveils Devstral: Advanced AI for Coding - AI startup Mistral has released Devstral, a new AI model for coding developed with All Hands AI. Available under an Apache 2.0 license, it surpasses competitors like Google's Gemma 3 27B in coding benchmarks. Lightweight enough for local deployment, Devstral is accessible via platforms like Hugging Face and Mistral's API.
The model costs $0.1 per million input tokens and $0.3 per million output tokens. Mistral is also working on a larger coding model, expanding their offerings alongside recent launches like Mistral Medium 3 and Le Chat Enterprise.
