Mistral AI Raises €3B, Valued at €20B

French open-source AI lab Mistral AI has closed a €3 billion funding round led by Samsung Electronics, with participation from Salesforce Ventures, Nvidia, and ASML. The startup is now valued at over €20 billion and counts more than 125 enterprise clients including Airbus and HSBC. Mistral plans to use the capital to expand computing infrastructure and grow internationally. The company offers cloud-based AI tools including Mistral Forge for synthetic dataset generation, Mistral Studio for LLM training and agent development, and Vibe, a pre-packaged coding and automation agent that can run on-premises.
