Midjourney Unveils V1 for Video Generation - Midjourney Inc. has launched V1, an AI model that generates videos up to 21 seconds long, expanding on the company's AI image generation expertise with new animation features through a gallery. Users customize video clips by providing prompts, with varying levels of creativity and motion. V1 can extend initial 5-second animations by four seconds, up to four times.
This release follows the recent launch of Midjourney's improved image generator, V7, and is part of a broader strategy to develop 3D simulation capabilities in real-time. The addition of animation with V1 marks a significant step in enhancing user experience and broadening the application of Midjourney's AI technology.
