Microsoft Unleashes AI-Powered GitHub Copilot Enhancements - Microsoft has introduced a new feature for GitHub Copilot, enabling it to act as an AI coding agent for handling low- to medium-complexity tasks. It autonomously manages tasks such as bug fixes and feature additions, updating draft pull requests within GitHub.
Alongside this, Microsoft launched Agentic DevOps to optimize the software lifecycle using AI agents and open-sourced GitHub Copilot in Visual Studio Code. These advancements aim to boost developer productivity by reducing manual workloads and seamlessly integrating AI into development workflows.
