Metropolis Acquires Oosto for $125M - Metropolis, an AI-powered parking platform, has acquired computer vision company Oosto for $125 million in an all-stock deal, a fraction of its prior valuation. As part of the acquisition, Oosto's investors receive Series D preferred stock in Metropolis. Oosto, formerly AnyVision, faced criticism for its controversial surveillance technology and lost support from Microsoft. However, it later raised $235 million from SoftBank.
