Meta Launches Proprietary AI Model Muse Spark

Meta has unveiled Muse Spark, its first proprietary AI model since forming Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL) in summer 2025. Chief AI Officer Alexandr Wang calls it the most powerful model Meta has ever released, featuring tool-use and visual chain of thought capabilities. The launch marks a significant shift for Meta, which built its AI reputation on open-source Llama models.
