Meta Fails in $100M Poaching Attempt - Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg's recent efforts to recruit top AI talent with $100 million offers have largely failed, according to OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. Despite Meta's attempts to entice researchers from OpenAI and Google DeepMind, high compensation has not swayed top talent. Altman believes OpenAI’s innovative culture and mission to achieve AGI keep their team intact.
Meta continues building its AI superintelligence team while OpenAI and others advance. Additionally, Altman teased an AI-powered social media app, hinting at further competition with Meta in the social network arena.
