Meta Enforces Originality to Curb Content Theft - Meta is targeting Facebook accounts that share unoriginal content, mirroring YouTube's approach. It plans to decrease the visibility of reused content and may limit monetization for violators. This initiative addresses the rise of content theft and low-quality AI-generated media while promoting authentic storytelling and high-quality captions.
Despite efforts to maintain content originality, concerns remain about Meta's automated enforcement, which has wrongly impacted genuine users. Changes will be gradually implemented, allowing creators to adjust. Meta will provide additional information in its Transparency Reports.
