Meta Deploys Millions of AWS Graviton5 Chips for AI

Meta has signed an agreement with Amazon AWS to deploy tens of millions of Graviton5 cores, expanding its Agentic AI infrastructure. The 192-core chip, built on a 3nm process, offers 33% better core-to-core latency, greater bandwidth, and enhanced security, making Meta one of AWS's largest Graviton customers. This deal follows Meta's recent partnerships with AMD, Arm, and Broadcom, reflecting a broader industry shift toward CPUs for AI workloads. AWS claims a 25% performance improvement over the previous Graviton generation, though independent verification is still pending.
