Lightfield Raises $47M to Dethrone Salesforce
AI-native CRM startup Lightfield has raised $47 million in a Series A round led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Lightspeed, Coatue, Greylock and others. The company argues that legacy CRM platforms like Salesforce were built for humans, not AI agents, making them ill-suited for enterprise automation.
Lightfield rebuilds the CRM from scratch, automatically capturing and structuring customer interactions from email, Slack, LinkedIn and calendars into a format AI agents can reliably use. Since launching in November, the startup has signed over 5,000 customers, with dozens migrating directly from Salesforce.
