LG and NVIDIA Unite to Advance Sovereign AI

LG AI Research has agreed to deepen cooperation with NVIDIA to develop next-generation AI technologies and expand its flagship EXAONE model ecosystem. The partnership builds on existing collaboration using NVIDIA's Nemotron datasets to train EXAONE models. NVIDIA VP Bryan Catanzaro emphasized that integrating EXAONE with Nemotron enables high-quality local AI models supporting sovereign AI initiatives. LG AI Research chief Lim Woo-hyung pledged to extend the collaboration beyond research into broader industry applications, as LG Group accelerates its wider AI transformation strategy.
