Harvey AI Raises $550M at $15.5B Valuation

Harvey AI has secured $550 million in new funding at a $15.5 billion valuation, led by Diffusion and Lightspeed Venture Partners, with backing from Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, and Goldman Sachs. The legal AI platform counts 80% of the top 100 U.S. law firms and half the Fortune 10 among its customers. The funding follows Harvey's launch of Tenet, a custom large language model fine-tuned on legal documents that outperforms GPT-5 Sol and Fable 5 in several areas. The company also debuted LAB, a legal AI benchmark with 1,200 tasks, and plans to expand its AI research and custom model development.
