Google Enhances Search with New Health Features - Google introduced healthcare-focused features for Search and Android, adding expanded knowledge panels in Spanish, Portuguese, and Japanese for health queries. A new What People Suggest feature highlights shared health experiences to retain users on Search. Additionally, Google launched global medical records APIs on its Health Connect platform on Android, facilitating access to diverse health data.
The Pixel Watch 3 is set to include an FDA-cleared Loss of Pulse Detection feature. Google also unveiled TxGemma, open AI models for drug discovery, under its Gemini AI initiative for healthcare.
