Google Enhances AI Mode for Search - Google has updated its AI Mode in search, enhancing user experience with personalized, conversational answers and interactive visual features. Launched in March, AI Mode uses advanced models like Gemini for in-depth query responses, offering summaries, context, and images. Users now access a visual interface with clickable product cards and restaurant details, leveraging Google’s Shopping Graph with over 45 billion listings.
The update includes an AI Mode history for revisiting past searches. Initially accessed via Google Labs, it is now available to U.S. users directly following positive feedback and plans for further rollouts.
