Google Debuts Interactive AI Voice Conversations - Google's new AI Modes feature enables voice conversations with Search. Accessed through the Google app's Live icon, it allows users to ask complex questions and receive AI-generated audio responses, as well as view related links. This feature supports multitasking by operating in the background and provides text transcripts of responses.
Built on a custom Gemini model, AI Modes delivers reliable and diverse content. Future updates will offer real-time questions via camera input, enhancing exploration opportunities.
