Ethyca has launched Astralis, a platform designed to govern how enterprise AI models and agents use company data in real time. The launch addresses a growing gap between rapid AI agent deployment and compliance teams' ability to track them, with Gartner forecasting Fortune 500 companies will run over 150,000 AI agents by 2028. Astralis combines a Large Language Regulatory Model that cuts privacy assessments from 60 hours to 40 minutes, and a Purpose-Based Access Control engine that screens data requests as they arrive. Running entirely within a customer's cloud environment, one U.S. financial institution already uses it to automate 6,000 requests per second.
