APERION Launches On-Prem AI SDK After LiteLLM Attack

APERION has released the SmartFlow SDK, an on-premises AI governance solution targeting enterprises fleeing cloud-based AI gateways following the March 24 LiteLLM supply chain attack. The breach, executed by threat group TeamPCP, compromised an estimated 36% of cloud environments and quarantined LiteLLM's 95-million-monthly-download package, driving a 200% spike in traffic to APERION's site. SmartFlow deploys as a Kubernetes-native software appliance behind enterprise firewalls with no public registry dependencies. The SDK offers immediate migration from LiteLLM, with compliance mapping to EU AI Act, HIPAA, FINRA, and NIST frameworks. APERION estimates the AI governance market at $40–$50 billion.
