Players can create themed chess sets, such as sushi or pizza-inspired designs, by providing text prompts. The project offers two stylesclassic and creative. Once the set is generated, players can edit individual pieces and play against an AI with their custom set. GenChess is part of Googles initiatives around the World Chess Championship, including coding challenges on Kaggle and Chess Gem, an upcoming conversational chess feature in the Gemini app.
