Dell Bets Big on AI Data Orchestration

Dell Technologies has transformed from a hardware provider into a data intelligence and orchestration powerhouse, driven by its AI Factory strategy launched two years ago. The company has deployed AI Factory systems to over 4,000 customers, with AI server sales surging from $10 billion to $25 billion and projected to hit $50 billion this year. CEO Michael Dell cites insatiable demand for compute across enterprise, sovereign, and tier-two cloud providers. Dell is capitalizing on a strong preference for on-premises AI deployment, with 84% of organizations favoring onsite generative AI, while also expanding its portfolio through new automation and AI data platforms.
