Dell adds knowledge graph and faster Nvidia processing to AI platform

Dell Technologies expanded its AI Data Platform with a Unified Semantic Layer and Enterprise Knowledge Graph to give AI agents trusted context from company data. The semantic layer enforces consistent business definitions across systems, while the knowledge graph maps data relationships so agents can trace connected information across tables and vector indexes. Knowledge Agents run on assigned data slices using Nvidia Nemotron Retriever models, all inside the customer's own data center. Dell also reported its Data Processing Engine running on Nvidia GPUs delivered 3.9 times faster Apache Spark jobs on average, with a peak 20.4-times speedup. The semantic layer, knowledge graph, and agents are due in the first half of 2027.
