Cobionix Secures $3M for Medical Robotics Innovation - Cobionix, a Canadian medical robotics company, has raised $3 million for its autonomous platform, Codi, designed for remote diagnostic ultrasound procedures. Led by TitletownTech and backed by Lions Investment and Dr. Paul McBeth, Codi offers multifunctional capabilities and easy tool adaptability to address the need for remote skilled medical care, particularly in rural areas.
The funding supports Codi's pilot programs starting in August and its U.S. commercial launch slated for 2026. Ultrasound technicians can assist patients remotely through this platform, enhancing access to medical care.
