Claude Now Has Its Own Built-In Browser

Anthropic has added a built-in browser to Claude Cowork on the desktop app, allowing Claude to navigate websites, fill forms, pull data, and interact with portals independently. It requires no extensions or setup, and remains completely separate from your personal browser, never accessing your tabs, bookmarks, or passwords. The feature is rolling out this week to Pro, Max, and Team plan users on macOS, Windows, and Linux. Enterprise admins can enable it immediately. Users who already use Claude in Chrome keep that as default, with the option to switch browsers anytime in Settings.
