Claude Now Accesses Your Emails and Controls Windows

Anthropic has rolled out two major Claude updates expanding its real-world utility. Microsoft 365 integration is now available on all plans, including free, letting users connect Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint directly to Claude without manual file transfers. Additionally, Claude's computer use feature, which allows the AI to open apps, browse the web, and handle desktop tasks autonomously, has arrived on Windows via Claude Cowork and Claude Code Desktop. The updates are part of Anthropic's aggressive 2026 roadmap, following Cowork, a plugin marketplace, and free Memory rollouts earlier this year.
