Cisco, Nvidia Expand AI Factory to Full Rack Scale
Cisco is expanding its Secure AI Factory beyond networking to include full rack-scale, liquid-cooled compute systems, partnering with Supermicro and building around Nvidia's Cloud Partner reference architecture. The move targets neoclouds, enterprises, and sovereign AI programs all racing to get AI systems into production faster.
The partnership addresses both initial deployment and long-term operations, covering monitoring, software upgrades, and lifecycle management. Nvidia's Spectrum-X open interfaces allow customers to run their own technologies while Cisco Silicon One switches connect to the access network, ensuring performance guarantees across the full stack.
