ChatGPT Chrome extension now reads your open tabs

OpenAI has updated its ChatGPT Google Chrome extension to let the AI view your open browser tabs. With the extension installed, users can tag Chrome within ChatGPT's web or desktop app to give the AI access to their current tabs. OpenAI shared a demo showing someone asking ChatGPT to compare three open sofa listings, illustrating how the feature can assist with in-browser research and decision-making.
