AWS Unveils Graviton4 Update and New AI Chip - Amazon Web Services will release the Graviton4 CPU, featuring 96 cores, enhanced cybersecurity, and a substantial network bandwidth increase from 50 Gbps to 600 Gbps. Additionally, the Trainium3 AI chip will debut, expected by year-end, offering double the performance and 50% more energy efficiency compared to Trainium2.
Both chips are developed by AWS Annapurna Labs and aim to enhance AI model training and improve overall infrastructure performance.
