AWS Tool Lets AI Agents Query Multiple Accounts Securely

Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Gateway enables enterprises to build AI agents that query data across multiple AWS accounts without centralizing or copying it. Each business unit keeps data in its own account while a central platform account hosts the agent and handles LLM inference through Amazon Bedrock. AgentCore Gateway acts as a single MCP endpoint, registering each account's MCP server as a target and providing unified tool discovery, centralized authentication via AgentCore Identity, fine-grained authorization through Cedar policies, and built-in observability. Business teams expose their data as MCP servers with specific tools, keeping raw resources within their own accounts.
