AWS Expands Agentic AI, Partners With OpenAI

Amazon Web Services unveiled agentic AI enhancements for Amazon Connect and Amazon Quick, targeting healthcare, supply chain, and hiring use cases. The updates include AI-native payment workflows and a personalized desktop assistant powered by a personal knowledge graph. AWS CEO Matt Garman highlighted speed gains, noting Prime Video rewrote internal code in two quarters instead of two years. AWS also announced a new alliance with OpenAI, introducing Bedrock-managed agents powered by OpenAI models and integrating Codex into Amazon's foundation model API.
