AWS Continuum Uses AI to Auto-Fix Code Vulnerabilities
Amazon Web Services launched AWS Continuum at the AWS Summit in New York, an AI-powered security platform that discovers, validates, and remediates software vulnerabilities with minimal human intervention. The platform uses multiple frontier AI models and operates in four continuous phases: ingesting vulnerability backlogs, prioritizing findings, validating flaws via sandboxed exploit testing, and recommending or applying fixes.
Continuum launches with a human-in-the-loop learn mode before customers can enable automated enforce mode. It absorbs earlier AWS Security Agent capabilities, including penetration testing and code scanning, and adds a new threat modeling preview. The platform is currently available in gated preview.
