Arlequin AI Raises €28M for Topological Neural Networks

Paris-based Arlequin AI has raised €28 million in a Series A round co-led by Redalpine and OTB Ventures, with participation from Bpifrance's Defense Innovation Fund and others. The funding will accelerate development of topological neural networks, a novel AI architecture designed to learn complex relationships across large-scale, heterogeneous data. Unlike graph-based networks powering most large language models, Arlequin's TNN approach captures multipath data interactions while requiring significantly less compute. Target applications include counterterrorism, fraud detection, cybersecurity and criminal investigations. The company is expanding to London, Berlin and a planned Silicon Valley AI lab.
