Arda Industries Launches with $232M for Factory AI
Arda Industries launched with $232 million in funding led by Accel, Altimeter, Founders Fund, and Khosla Ventures. The startup, led by former OpenAI Chief Research Officer Bob McGrew, offers an AI platform that automates production line planning from product blueprints, determines robot configurations, monitors quality, and generates worker instructions. Arda says its software reduces engineering tasks that typically take days to just hours. Current customers include Anduril Industries in defense and unnamed data center electronics suppliers. The company plans to expand into consumer electronics and develop AI agents that can reconfigure production lines in days rather than months.
