Apple Pays $250M to Settle Siri AI Lawsuit
Apple has agreed to pay $250 million to settle a false advertising class-action lawsuit over its overhyped Apple Intelligence Siri features. US customers who bought an iPhone 15 or 16 between June 10, 2024 and March 29, 2025 could receive up to $95 per device.
The lawsuit alleged Apple deceived consumers with ads promising AI-enhanced Siri features that never arrived. Apple admitted no wrongdoing, and the settlement still awaits a judge's approval. This marks the second costly Siri-related settlement in two years, following a $95 million payout over privacy concerns in 2025.
