Apple Pays $250M Over Siri AI Delays
Apple has agreed to pay $250 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it misled consumers about its Apple Intelligence features, particularly an upgraded Siri. Plaintiffs claimed Apple's marketing created false expectations about AI capabilities that were incomplete or delayed at the time of purchase. The settlement comes ahead of its June 8 developer conference, where an AI-enhanced Siri is expected to be previewed.
