Apple Delays Modernized Siri Until 2027 - Apple is reportedly facing challenges in rebuilding Siri to harness generative AI fully, with a modernized version anticipated by iOS 20 in 2027. While addressing these challenges, Apple plans to update Siri, with a major version set to debut in May 2025, incorporating Apple Intelligence features with a dual-brain system for traditional commands and advanced queries.
An integrated system known as LLM Siri will be announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June 2025, aiming for a spring 2026 launch. This development is expected to pave the way for further advancements in Siri's capabilities.
