Anthropics AI Dominates Enterprise Market - Anthropics AI models have become the top choice for enterprises, surpassing OpenAI and capturing 32% of the market share, compared to OpenAI's 25%, as reported by Menlo Ventures. In coding, Anthropic holds a stronger lead with 42% against OpenAI's 21%. The scheduled releases of the Claude 3.5 Sonnet model in 2024 and Claude 3.7 Sonnet in 2025 have contributed to this growth.
Despite the rise of Anthropic, closed models are still preferred by enterprises, limiting the adoption of open source alternatives. OpenAI, however, retains a strong presence in the consumer market with notable ChatGPT usage.
