Anthropic Rents CoreWeave Capacity for Claude AI

Anthropic has agreed to a multiyear deal to rent data center capacity from CoreWeave to meet surging demand for its Claude AI models. The arrangement will include various Nvidia chip architectures across US data centers, though financial terms were not disclosed. CoreWeave shares jumped 7.1% on the news. The deal adds to Anthropic's broader infrastructure push. The $380 billion company has committed $50 billion toward new US AI data centers and recently announced a partnership with Broadcom and Google to secure 3.5 gigawatts of energy capacity.
