Anthropic Launches Claude Security Beta for Codebases

Anthropic has launched Claude Security in public beta, a tool within Claude Enterprise that helps cybersecurity teams scan codebases for vulnerabilities and generate patches. Powered by the Opus 4.7 model, it evolved from a February research preview and has already been used by hundreds of organizations to uncover exploits missed by existing tools. The tool reasons over entire codebases like a security researcher, tracing data flows and component interactions while providing confidence ratings and fix recommendations. Technology partners including CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, SentinelOne, TrendAI and Wiz are integrating Opus 4.7 into their platforms. New features include scheduled scans, dismissal notes and audit-ready exports.
