Anthropic Launches Claude Design for Visual Assets

Anthropic has launched Claude Design, a graphic design tool in public preview available to Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise subscribers. Users can generate visual assets through natural language prompts, upload reference images or documents, and refine outputs using a Tweaks feature. The tool supports design systems and code repository integration. Powered by the new Claude Opus 4.7 model, Claude Design can produce interactive graphics, ads, slides, and UI components. The announcement sent Figma shares down over 7%. The tool was built by Anthropic Labs, co-led by Instagram co-founder Mike Krieger, signaling plans for more task-specific AI products.
