Amazon Unveils AI Agent Nova Act - Amazon has launched Nova Act, an AI agent that operates web browsers to perform tasks such as clicking buttons and entering text. Developed by the Amazon AGI San Francisco Lab, Nova Act enables users to interact with web pages in a human-like manner. The Nova Act SDK accompanies this release, allowing developers to create agents to execute complex commands.
This launch coincides with the debut of nova.amazon.com, which provides access to Amazon's Nova foundation models. The move positions Amazon alongside enterprises like Google and Anthropic, which are working on advanced agentic AI solutions.
