Amazon Invests $25B More in Anthropic

Amazon and Anthropic are deepening their strategic partnership, with Anthropic committing to spend over $100 billion on AWS technologies over the next decade. This includes multiple generations of Trainium chips and Graviton cores, plus up to 5 gigawatts of capacity for AI model training. Over 100,000 customers already run Claude models on AWS. Amazon will invest an additional $5 billion in Anthropic immediately, with up to $20 billion more tied to commercial milestones, on top of a previous $8 billion investment. AWS customers will also gain direct access to Anthropic's native Claude console through their existing AWS accounts.
