Amazon Connect Expands Beyond Contact Centers Into AI Suite
Amazon Web Services is repositioning its Connect brand from a contact center platform into a family of four agentic AI products: Connect Customer (the original rebranded), Connect Decisions for supply chains, Connect Talent for high-volume hiring, and Connect Health for healthcare delivery. Each product is built on AI systems Amazon developed internally at massive scale.
The suite is designed around AI acting as a teammate rather than a tool, handling tasks like candidate screening overnight before handing off to human recruiters. AWS VP Pasquale DeMaio emphasized the goal is not to replace workers but to help them operate faster, with each product targeting departments that would never traditionally buy contact center software.
